IIABCal recognizes the importance of keeping the information we collect about you confidential. We take care to protect what you entrust to us. is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website.
Information Gathering - The website does track the specific usage of particular users. Information about users and what they do is passed to third-parties that assist in tracking and security functionality.
Cookies and Web Bugs - The IIABCal website does use both cookies and web bugs for tracking and statistical information. Additionally, in the case of SSO (Single Sign-On) with Protech - IIABCalassociation management software, this information is used to login members to the Protech Web Portal.

CHILDREN

Precautions For Children- IIABCal does not collect personal information from children, and we do not provide services to children. The IIABCal website is not directed to children under age 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under age 18.

EMAIL LIST PRIVACY

Opt-in Email Lists - IIABCal informs active members of the association of industry changes, products and services, and scheduled events through email broadcasts using the emails provided by active members and individuals. We also use email lists that we have assembled from people who have indicated they want additional information about our services. Additionally, we use email lists that are comprised of people who have requested additional information about services similar to those IIABCal provides.
Third-Party Email Lists - IIABCal periodically purchases email addresses and other contact information from vendors, such as Kirchner's, for the purposes of marketing and selling memberships and products and services to insurance agents and brokers.
Personal Contacts IIABCal personnel frequently give presentations at conferences and seminars, write articles and newsletters, and participate in similar types of group and individual communications. We often receive business cards, as well as requests for additional information or help with risk- related issues. When we receive requests for information or help in person, from our web site, from information volunteered by our web site visitors, or from conferences, from people indicating they want more information about our type of services, we will place these individuals on our contact list.
Email List Privacy - IIABCal does not sell, rent or share our email lists with any third parties. We do not link our email lists to any other databases. We do not store emails or individual information on our web server. All personally identifiable information is stored on servers behind firewalls.

Collecting Confidential Information - IIABCal does use some encryption when collecting personal information via web forms on members and individuals. Web site users can identify these forms by looking in the address bar of the browser, where the "https" in the URL indicates a secure connection.

Email Lists - If you are currently on our email list and wish to be removed, please send an email to info@iiabcal.org or complete the Contact Us email form as noted above under Product Information.
