Brandon Okita is presently the Vice President for FIA Insurance Services, Inc. in Pasadena, California.
Brandon attended the University of California at Irvine where he majored in Economics.
At FIA, Brandon is responsible for the development, expansion and retention of business accounts.
In 2004, Brandon became a board member for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Los Angeles, and served as their President in 2010. As a board member, he also was involved with the annual Industry Day that the Los Angeles board organizes in a joint effort with the boards of the San Fernando Valley and Burbank, Glendale & Pasadena chapters of IIAB-Cal. In 2007, Brandon served as the co-chairperson of the event.
In 2008, Brandon joined the IBA West Young Brokers & Agents (YBA) Committee and served as the Vice Chairman in 2009 and Chairman of the Committee in 2010. While on the YBA Committee, Brandon was responsible for helping to organize three political conferences at the state capitol, increasing the YBA amount of donations raised for InsurPAC, and organizing three statewide YBA conferences, which included the conference he chaired in 2010 that won the Big “I” Outstanding Young Agents Meeting.
From 2011-2012, Brandon joined the IBA West Strategic Committee, helping the organization come up with new ideas to increase membership and revenue for the organization. He was awarded the IBA West 2011 Harlan Miller Award for his outstanding education to political grassroots program of the IIABA and the 2012 Anthony J. DiBuduo for his contributions to the community and association. In addition to attending many in-district meetings, Brandon has also participated in the multiple Big “I” National Legislative Conferences in Washington DC.
